The Metpak® Pressure Infusion Device includes a solution/blood bag, scale, and inflation bulb (manometer). The pressure bag combined with the manometer ensures ideal pressure infusions. The manometer is chrome-plated with an easy to read aluminum scale and measures 49 mm in diameter. It measures up to 300 mm Hg. It has a hardened copper-beryllium membrane. A zero point setting is not required for the manometer. The bag is durable and sturdy and made of blue cotton. It has a suspension loop for infusion stands and is washable in temperatures up to 140° F (60° C). The bag has a transparent net which allows for a precise reading of the level of fluid in the bag. The fluid bag has a velcro closure. It inlcludes a latex pad (latex does not touch the fluid) which is resistant to pressure. The Pressure Infusion Device is made in Germany and is latex-free.
