The Microtainer® Blood Collection Tubes are used for the collection, storing and transport of blood specimens. This model is used for serum determinations in chemistry.

User-Friendly: The BD Microtainer Tube with Serum Separator Additive & BD Microgard Closure features a wide mouth pathway that permits capillary blood to flow freely into the tube, and minimizes the chances of premature clotting in the collection top. This unique Twist Assist Micorgard Closure significantly reduces blood spatter upon removal.

Tube Size and Materials: Each tube offers a 200-400 micro-liter capacity, and is constructed with break-resistant plastic.

Special Features: Each tube includes a Serum Separator Additive and the BD Microgard tube closure.
