The Edan Nano L12 EXP is a pocket-sized linear ultrasound probe designed for high-resolution imaging of superficial structures (including vessels, MSK, breast, nerve, and thyroid) powered by Edan's SynSight zone sonography platform. It pairs with Android devices via Wi-Fi or cable, putting full-featured point-of-care ultrasound in a clinician's pocket.

LINEAR PROBE: The 4–12 MHz linear array delivers high-resolution imaging up to 10 cm deep, well suited for carotid, vascular, MSK, breast, nerve, pediatric, and needle-guided procedures where image detail matters more than depth.

SYNSIGHT PLATFORM: Zone sonography processes the full field of view in fewer transmit/receive cycles than conventional ultrasound, then retrospectively reprocesses raw echo data in the channel domain to produce optimized, low-noise images.

FOUR IMAGING MODES: B-mode, M-mode, Color Doppler, and Pulsed Wave Doppler support a broad range of diagnostic and procedural applications from structural assessment to blood flow analysis.

AUTO IMT AND NEEDLE GUIDANCE: Auto intima-media thickness measurement streamlines carotid screening, while needle visualization support assists with guided injections, biopsies, and vascular access procedures.

POCKET SIZE, SERIOUS PROTECTION: At 215 g and IP67-rated, the L12 EXP handles dust, water, and the demands of field and emergency environments, and wipes down easily between patients.

FLEXIBLE CONNECTIVITY: Connects to Android smartphones and tablets via USB Type-C cable or Wi-Fi. Supports DICOM transfer plus local storage in JPEG and MP4 formats for easy sharing and recordkeeping.

LONG RUNTIME: Up to 5 hours of operation (50% scan / 50% pause) with a ~2.5-hour charge time from 8% to 90%, enough for a full clinical shift without reaching for a charger.

CONFIGURABLE CONTROLS: Three user-defined buttons can be mapped to frequently used functions, and the app supports user-defined presets, body marks, measurements, and multi-language display.
