Medtronic is proud to produce the Nellcor™ Colorimetric CO2 Detector for both Adult and Pediatric patients. This detector attaches directly to the endotracheal tube (ETT), which helps medical professionals to verify proper ETT placement by assesing exhaled CO2 levels in a reliable and safe manner. This device quickly responds to exhaled CO2 by changing from purple to yellow, a familiar color scheme that all clinicians know and trust.

Colorimetric CO2 detectors are latex-free, and they work via a breat-to-breath response. Healthcare professionals will receive constant visual feedback from them, for up to two hours.
