One of the design focuses of Caregiver® Thermometer lies in operation simplicity that is crucial to workflow efficiency, patient satisfaction and accuracy. The unit features a one-button operation and as little as 1 second of a response time. Pointed at a patient’s forehead, the Thermometer reads the temperature and displays results on a large LCD screen with a backlit function for a trouble-free operation even in dark settings. In addition the screen provides information on battery status, shows date & time, skin surface and room temperature readings, memory mode and an error alarm. The readings can be displayed in either °F or °C units at user choice. The performed measurements feature ±0.4F accuracy in a range from 96.8 to 102.2F and meet ASTM and ISO standards. For even greater functional efficiency, Caregiver® device features an internal memory function with a capacity of up to 30 stored readings.
