An audible "click" sound is produced once the shield is closed, that prevents the risk of needlestick injuries. The insulin syringe is easy to use, has a smooth plunger movement for gentle injection, and has a clear and bold scale markings on its barrel for precise insulin dosing. A well-polished and ultra-thin 29G x 1/2" needle is attached to the syringe, which promotes comfort to the patient during injection.
