Innovative and easy to use, the Oraquick Advance HIV-1/2 Rapid Antibody Test Kit is used to detect HIV-1 & 2 antibodies in a patient, and can be used in or out of a clinical setting. The rapid test is CLIA-waived for oral fluid, fingerstick and venipuncture whole blood, and CLIA moderately complex for plasma samples. This can efficiently give results in just 20 minutes, and help healthcare professionals in accurately diagnosing a patient's condition. Complete & Efficient Kit: The antibody test kit has individually-packed HIV Rapid Antibody Tests, which contains a single use test device, an absorbent packet, and a developer solution vial which has 1mL of buffered saline solution with an antimicrobial agent. The kit also consists of reusable test stands, specimen collection loops, information pamphlets, a customer letter, and package insert. Easy & Reliable Testing: Results can easily be obtained by collecting the specimen via fingerstick or venipuncture (blood), or flat pad directly in the test device (oral fluid), and mixing the specimen to the developer solution included in the pack. The test device is then inserted into the buffer solution, and the results will appear in just 20 minutes. Accurate reading can be done between 20-40 minutes, with positive results showing lines on both "C" and "T" zones of the stick, and negative results show a single line in the "C" zone.
