The BD P800 Blood Collection System is specially designed for maximum stabilization and preservation of plasma metabolic markers such as Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1), Glucagon, non-acyl Ghrelin, Gastric Inhibitory Polypeptide (GIP), and Oxyntomodulin (OXM). This blood collection tube contains spray-dried K2EDTA anticoagulant and a proprietary cocktail of protease inhibitors that stabilize metabolic markers as they are collected. The collected plasma can be used immediately, transported, or stored frozen.

BD P800 is for research use only – it is not for use in diagnostic procedures.
