The Retractable Technologies Patient Safe Syringe is a great product that helps healthcare professionals in reducing the risk of contamination during medication injection. It features a unique luer guard safety, enclosing the luer lock tip, that promotes safe handling of syringe and medication. This syringe design can greatly minimize the risk of bloodstream infections due to catheter hub contamination.

Since this syringe does not transfer contaminants, exposure of healthworkers to hazardous drugs, before, during and after injection, can be greatly reduced. The syringe is easy to use, the same technique when you use standard syringes, and this is compatible with most of the available hypodermic needles. The Patient Safe Syringe is designed for both the patient and the clinician's safety.
