The Smiths Medical Per-Fit Percutaneous Tracheostomy Kit is a reliable set of tools used to help a patient breathe through an opening in the neck area. This double-deck tray of tools is sold two (2) kits per case, and is used to perform bedside percutaneous tracheostomy, creating an opening in the anterior tracheal wall of the patient. This dilational technique is done for patients who are expected to need mechanical ventilation for more than 7 days.

INNOVATIVE DESIGN: The obturator/dilator included joins effectively with the tube, which helps in an easier transition through the tissue and into the trachea.
