This needle is strong and sharp preventing it from bending during surgery, yet flexible enough to reduce breakage. The Tri-coined Reverse Cutting edge needle has properties that are best used for ophthalmic procedures and traction suture placement. It assists in better approximation of tough tissue. The needle has a NuCoat Technology coating that gives it better initial and multi-pass penetration resulting in less chance for tissue damage.
