Sharpoint™ Polypropylene Sutures consistently meet the demands of surgery professionals worldwide. Packaged in dry or in wetting solution, these sutures easily pass through tissue and are easy to handle. Polypropylene Sutures are equivalent to Ethicon Prolene™ and Syneture Surgipro™/ Surgipro™ II. It is the most versatile of all monofilament sutures, and is characterized by superior smoothness, better knot security and a unique extruding technique, which ensures a uniform, round cross section.

Polypropylene Sutures are available as dyed (blue), in various sizes. Size 9-0 is used in the most delicate of surgeries and for repair of small, damaged nerves. These sutures feature UltraGlide™ Needles, which are suitable for corneal transplant procedures due to the ultra-sharp, concave facets of the needle tip. The innovative "lift and cut" ramp prevents the tendency of the corneal tissue to "roll under" and follow the needle. The unique cutting geometry also allows for more secure knots.
