The BD Port Access Prep Kit is a convenient set of devices and supplies used by healthcare professionals to provide a sterile and reliable administration during port-access related procedures. It features essential components needed for prepping of the access site, disinfection, personal protective equipment for the clinician, and comes with the PowerLoc Max Safety Infusion Set. This package is sold as 5 kits per case, and comes with a procedure checklist to ensure efficient usage in the facility.
Complete Site Prep Package
HYGIENIC: This Port Access Prep Kit features necessary hygiene supplies, such as sterile gloves, mask, and sterile towel and drape, ultimately avoiding exposure to pathogens.
STERILE: It also comes with sterile pads and ChloraPrep One-Step Applicator for pre-operative skin prepping, transparent dressing to protect the IV insertion site and wound, and a sterile field-ready flush syringe.
RELIABLE FLUID ADMINISTRATION: The PowerLoc Max Safety Infusion Set is included for the efficient administration of fluids and medicine.

ERGONOMIC: The included PowerLoc Max Infusion Set comes with a rotating needle hub that helps in the easy positioning and maneuvering of the tubing, and a textured handle which is easy to grasp during administration.
CONVENIENT: It has a small, stable, clear base, a low-profile design, and a padded small footprint that can provide added patient comfort during dressing.
EFFECTIVE DESIGN: It has a wingless design for site care, and has a lower insertion and penetration force compared to other non-siliconized needles.

VERSATILE: This infusion set has a single-step safety activation, has a non-coring construction that minimizes septum damage, and is dual lumen port compatible, enabling simultaneous infusions for added efficiency.
POWER INJECTION CAPABILITY: The Infusion Set accepts contrast agents to be injected into the central nervous system, offering effective imaging via CECT scan.
