I purchased this for my son that is semi-vegitive. I love the clip. It allows the nurses and myself to remove the monitor to transport him without ruining the probe. It seems to be more comfortable than the finger tape probe. I will recommend this to other caregivers that use this monitor. It did take a while for the delivery. I am glad i was able to find this online. A happy mom
