3M's Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus offers a fast, simple method for meeting the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) qualitative fit testing guidelines. With this apparatus, assessing the face-to-respirator seal of any particulate respirator or gas/vapor respirator with a particulate prefilter is easy.

Fit testing must be performed before a respirator is first issued to a healthcare worker and is required annually thereafter. This testing is accomplished by spraying a test agent into the hood environment with the respirator in place. If the wearer does not detect the taste of the test agent, the fit is safe and secure. The apparatus comes with Bitter or Sweet testing agents and is sold individually. This kit has an average capacity of 125 - 150 Tests

Included with this kit is a sensitivity solution, a fit test solution, two nebulizers, one hood, one collar assembly, two sets of replacement nebulizer inserts and a laminated instruction booklet. All components are latex-free.
