The Quidel Solana C. Difficle Assay Diagnostic Test Kit, 48 Tests per Kit is an in vitro rapid medical test designed for the direct, qualitative detection of the Clostridium difficle Toxin A gene (tcDA) in unformed stool specimens from patients.

State-of-the-art Technology. Utilizing Helicase-Dependent Amplification (HDA) Technology, the Solana C. Difficle Assay Diagnostic Test Kit amplifies highly-conserved fragments of Toxin A gene sequence. The target sequence is heightened by certain primers and identified by a PRC specific fluorescence probe in the reaction tube. It is 93% sensitive and 99.2% specific to toxigenic culture.

Easy-to-Use and Accurate. The Solana C. Difficle Assay Diagnostic Test Kit features a competitive process control (PRC) which is included in the Lysis Tube that monitors sample processing, inhibitory substances in clinical samples, reagent failure or device failure. The results are produced within 30-minutes and are displayed on the Solana Instruments' Touchscreen which can be saved, printed or sent to the LIS.

The Quidel Solana C. Difficle Assay Diagnostic Test Kit has a 12-month shelf life from date of manufacture, comes with 48 Tests per Kit and includes the following:
