The Quidel Solana HSV 1+2/VZV Assay Kit, 48 Tests per Kit is a rapid medical diagnostic test designed for the accurate detection and proper differentiation of Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV 1+2) and Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV) nucleic acids found from cutaneous or mucocutaneous swab specimens obtained from symptomatic patients.

Ease-of-Use and Reliable. Using Helicase-Dependent Amplification (HDA) Technology, the Solana HSV 1+2/VZV Assay Kit allows specimen preparation and augmentation of target sequence specific HSV and/or VZV in the presence of target-specific fluorescence probe requiring no thermal cycler. The Assay Kit's Lyophilized Master Mix Reagent features an easy-to-use format just by simply adding processed samples to rehydrate. Results are ready in approximately 50 minutes after the samples are obtained.

The Quidel Solana HSV 1+2/VZV Assay Kit has a 12-Month Shelf Life from date of manufacture and comes with 48 Tests per Kit.
