The Quidel Solana C. difficile Test detects toxigenic Clostridium difficile in unformed stool specimens of patients suspected of having Clostridium difficile infection (CDI).

Simplified Workflow:

Samples are analyzed and displayed with the Solana Analyzer, an easy-to-use device with a touchscreen display. Results can be saved, printed, or exported via a USB port
Able to batch test up to 12 tests per run

Superior Accuracy:

Includes a competitive process control (PRC) to monitor sample processing, inhibitory substances in clinical samples, reagent failure, or device failure
Uses helicase-dependent amplification (HDA) to amplify a highly-conserved fragment of the Toxin A gene sequence
