Specialist|PRO Electrosurgical Generator by Bovie is a versatile unit that facilitates tissue cutting and coagulation in the process of surgical treatment of patients. The Generator proves itself to be a convenient, reliable and safe tool optimized for operating suites and procedure rooms.

Excellent Functionality
The Specialist|PRO is designed as a multipurpose electrosurgical generator that serves to significantly reduce the surgical procedure time, the amount of blood loss during surgery and the time required for post-operative rehabilitation. For these purposes the Generator features two levels of coagulation. The Pinpoint Coagulation with 80 watts maximum power allows better control over bleeding in localized areas, while Fulguration with 40 watts maximum power provides a great control over broad surface areas and helps to manage the bleeding in highly vascular tissue. The cutting power of Specialist|PRO Generator goes up to 120 watts and the Blend mode features 90 watts. With Specialist|PRO the surgical procedure can be carried out in either Monopolar mode with the selection of handpiece or footswitch control and Bipolar mode controlled by a footswitch.

Great Features
The Specialist|PRO Generator is assembled with two digital displays that show the power output in watts in large, easy to see illuminated numbers. It takes as little as a second to see the digital displays and register the values they represent. Bovie art of engineering goes beyond that and presents an excellent memory function. The unit saves the last power setting and when switched on it automatically powers up to the preset Cut and Coagulation modes.

Safety & Performance Control
One of they key features incorporated by Specialist|PRO Electrosurgical Generator is the two levels of burns protection. The implementation of Bovie NEM™ technology provides automatic control over return electrode and contact quality monitoring that eliminate patient burns from the return electrodes. The system appliance ensures that the primary command is the first to be carried out and all the further commands are attended in the corresponding sequence. For this purpose only one of the outputs can be active at the point of time, so that if you use a handswitch, all the foot controlling devices are inactive. To top-off the safety level and minimize the potential of alternate site burns, the RF output has been isolated. The Specialist|PRO executes a continuous digital monitoring of all system parameters to assure the proper performance. In case of the error the system uses audible alarms, displays the proper error code and automatically shuts off the outputs.
