Steri-Strip compound benzoin tincture (CBT) is an alcoholic solution of compound benzoin. Steri-Strip compound benzoin tincture is used in addition to an adhesive, when enhancement of surgical tape and/or adhesive wound closure adhesion is preferred. The compound helps Steri-Strip skin closures stay on longer. The compound is in a sterile tray packaging which allows for aseptic delivery. Although, CBT does not contain iodine, it may be an irritant to some individuals and should not enter the wound. The package includes two 3 cc vials.
