Terumo SurShield Safety Winged Blood Collection Sets are designed to protect medical staff from needle stick injuries. The Terumo shield locks over the needle to minimize the risk of injury.

The SurShield features a one handed activation with minimal steps. The wings are interlocking, soft and flexible. They conform to the body's contour easily.

The needle is connected to the wing at just under a 3- degree downward angle. This prevents vessel damage or occlusions of the lumen. The tubing is coil resistant, latex free and DEHP free.
