Physicians, nurses, PAs, clinicians, and emergency personnel everywhere are often faced with a dilemma in blood pressure management. When patients come in all shapes and sizes, it is difficult to determine the necessary sizes and quantities of cuffs for everyday use. This can result in over- or under-ordering of cuffs, patient mis-cuffing and skewed blood pressure measurements, and size confusion. ADC presents a solution to this problem: the System 5™ Multicuff Kit, model 740. System 5™ combines a top-of-the-line trigger-style palm aneroid with five cuffs in varying sizes so that the correct size is always at hand. Sizes are clearly marked to avoid confusion, and each size - in addition to the gauge - has its own labeled pocket in the included lightweight, attaché-style case.

Manometer

The System 5™ Kit features ADC’s Diagnostix™ 804 Palm Aneroid, an attractive, comfortable, virtually indestructable aneroid. The gauge's Japanese-engineered movement has been tested to 50,000 cycles, over 5 times the requirement under ANSI SP10, and is housed in a zinc safety cage within its rugged ABS casing. It boasts a versatile trigger-style ergonomically advanced design for ultimate comfort and easy, ambidextrous use. Its luer slip connector and integrated inflation system allow for maximum simplicity and speed in cuff changes and one-handed use.

Carrying case

Each component of the System 5™ fits snugly into its labeled pocket in the attaché-style case. The case is made of 600-denier, heavy-duty black nylon with a dual zipper closure for rapid access and protection against the elements. Its reinforced carry handle allows for wall mounting when open. At 10" x 9" x 4" in the closed position and only 2.5 lbs., the case is portable and lightweight and can easily fit into most emergency boxes and trauma kits.

Cuffs

The included AdCuff™ latex-free nylon cuffs boast the innovative Size Guide™ marking system to prevent mis-cuffing. Choose from a variety of colors to suit every practice's needs abd tastes. System 5™ is available in monochromatic and multicolored options; order it with all navy cuffs, all orange cuffs, or different colors for each size. Multicolored options include an orange child cuff, green small adult cuff, royal blue adult cuff, navy large adult cuff, and burgundy thigh cuff.

Also available are the Adcuff+ with two tubes. This model is compatible with most pocket and clock aneroids, as well as NIBP monitors in the market today. It features a one-piece, reusable nylon blood pressure cuff with a bladderless construction. It offers a more uniform fit with its surface-mounted tube ports. Its hang tab makes it easier to fit conventional pocket gauges.
