The Quidel Corporation Triage Cardiac Panel is a point-of-care fluorescence immunoassay that is highly suited as a diagnostic aid for cardiovascular conditions, particularly the possibility of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

Quick & Trusted CVD Testing The test is a moderately complex assay that uses a multi-marker process to determine levels of creatine kinase MB, myoglobin, and troponin I in EDTA whole blood or plasma. This allows for highly reliable differentiation of myocardial infarction from other cardiovascular conditions. Its 99.9% NPV ensures a rapid rule-out. Additionally, with the short 20-minute processing time, healthcare providers will benefit from decreased unnecessary admissions and lengths of stay as well as improved clinical and operational outcomes.
