Intended for the needleless IV access, the Device helps realize a safe and simplified application process. Twinpak™ Technology The Twinpak™ Dual Cannula IV Access Device features outstanding design improvements that completely override the traditional methods with the use of sharp needles and multiple parts. The Device features a see-thru shield that holds two cannulas. The red hub cannula on one side is a metal unit with 20 G size and a blunt tip design for enhanced safety. It provides excellent flexibility for syringe filling with the use of single and multidose vials, medication ampules, and even other multiple access needs. The bright, color coded cannula hub helps easily indentify the filling device avoiding any confusion. On the other side the shield holds a blunt plastic cannula with green cap for protection before use. This blunt cannula facilitates a needleless access to split septum injection sites and can be used with used with Interlink®, Abbott LifeShield®, and McGaw SafeLine™ injection units, as well as vials designed for needleless access.
