BD Vacutainer® Glass Fluoride Glucose Tubes provide an advanced solution for glucose determinations ensuring efficiency and safety. The Tubes feature a unique Hemogard™ closure that has a recessed inner design and a shield covered with plastic, allowing to avoid contact with blood that gets on the stopper or outer rim of the tube. For even greater use convenience, the Hemogard™ closure ensures smooth operation that eliminates blood splattering while opening the tube. The Vacutainer® Glucose Tube comes with a paper label and contains 30 mg of Sodium Fluoride that acts as an antiglycolytic agent. The overall tube dimensions are 13 x 100mm with 7 mL draw volume.
