It features an automatic needle retraction, directly from the patient into the barrel of the syringe when the plunger handle is fully pressed. This mechanism technically eliminates the exposure of the clinician from the contaminated needle, which highly reduces the risk of needlestick injury, and gives additional comfort to the patient. Each VanishPoint insulin syringe has a clear and bold markings to allow accurate dosings of the medication. This is easy to use, can be activated using only one hand, and since the needle is inside the syringe after use, it requires a minimal disposal space compared to other syringe w/ needle products.
