How it Works: The Vein-Eye Carry Camera operates based on the principle that blood absorbs near-infrared light while the tissue around the vein does not. So when the camera emits 850 nm wavelengths onto the patient’s skin, it generates a video where the veins appear darker than the rest of the body. This kind of light penetrates the body of any patient.
