The Conmed Buffalo Filter ViroVac Surgical Smoke Evacuator removes surgical smoke at the source using four-stage filtration — ULPA, activated carbon, pre-filter, and fiberglass — in a compact unit built for physician offices and outpatient surgery centers. 4-STAGE FILTRATION: Smoke passes through a pre-filter, a ULPA layer capturing 99.999% of particles down to 0.1 microns, virgin activated carbon for odor and gas removal, and a woven fiberglass barrier. All in one enclosed, disposable unit that protects staff during removal.

VARIABLE FILTER LIFE: Run up to 35 hours on low speed, 24 on medium, or 18 on high, reducing per-procedure cost without sacrificing performance.

SMART FILTER TRACKING: Patented RFID technology monitors filter life in real time. The LED indicator counts down and flashes red when replacement is due. No guesswork, no missed changes.

PATENTED 3-PORT FILTER: Three covered, hidden male ports accept 1/4", 3/8", and 7/8" tubing. Compatible with a wide range of smoke pencils, adapters, and fluid traps right out of the box.

THREE MOTOR SPEEDS: Dial in the right suction level for each procedure — low, medium, or high — keeping noise under 55 dBA while clearing the operative field effectively.

HANDS-FREE CONTROL: The included pneumatic footswitch toggles suction on and off without leaving the sterile field. An optional auto-activation device syncs the unit with your ESU to extend filter life.

COMPACT AND STACKABLE: At 6" H × 11" W × 15.5" D and just 12 lbs., it fits on any shelf or counter and stacks, ideal for tight procedure rooms.

EASY TO DISINFECT: Smooth housing wipes down quickly with mild disinfectant between cases. A service LED alerts staff when motor maintenance is approaching, so nothing catches you off guard.
