Temperature

The SmarTemp Temp module is the more affordable option that reads the oral, axillary, and rectal temperature of adult and pediatric patients and the axillary temperature of neonatal patients.

The TemporalScanner, on the other hand, is an infrared thermometer that measures the temperature of patients by scanning the forehead skin over the temporal artery. It can be used on patients of all ages.

Pulse Oximetry

The Accutorr VS 8 offers a choice of Nellcor SpO2 or Masimo SpO2 Modules. Each module facilitates the accurate measurement of pulse oximetry in approximately 10 seconds.

A unique feature of the Nellcor module is the SatSeconds Alarm Management. This feature is designed to decrease the likelihood of false alarms caused by motion artifacts. With SatSeconds, the audible alarm will only activate once the SpO2 goes outside the limits beyond a specified amount of time.
