White Tychem SL Coverall with Bound Seams and Zipper Front

These zipper front limited use coveralls from DuPont are made from Tychem®, a material engineered to be impermeable and provide maximum protection from a large spectrum of chemical challenges. They feature bound seams and meet the CDC's requirements for PPE when managing patients with infectious diseases, such as ebola virus disease.

Impermeable: These Tychem® coveralls are made from Tyvek®, a specialised material created from spin-binding a high density polyethylene to produce a unique, non-woven olefin. Tyvek® is an intrinsically strong barrier against particles as small as 1.0 microns in size. Tychem® SL garments utilise the innate strength of Tyvek® laminated with SARANEX™ 23P. This is a basically impenetrable film which provides a resistant barrier against almost all organic and chemical substances.

Durable: Tychem® garments undergo extensive testing by a third party laboratory to guarantee safety for the wearer. These coveralls offer protection against more than 124 different chemical challenges for at least 30 minutes. The garment is constructed with wearer input to ensure optimum wearability. It gives an enhanced range of movement when bending and stretching and is reinforced in high-stress areas to minimise the risk of splitting.

Bound Seam: Bound seams seal the raw edges of fabric between another strip of laminated Tyvek® material to provide extra strength and durability. Bound seams give extra protection against particle shedding and fluid penetration to ensure maximum protection against intrustion at the seams.

High visibility: This coverall is available in white for the highest level of visibility during emergency patient care.

Easy to wear: This coverall is available with either open wrists and ankles to allow for easy doffing of protective gloves and boot covers, or elasticated wrists and ankles for a better fit and increased protection from infection. It features a storm flap which can be sealed over the zipper for enhanced protection.

Compliant: This coverall meets the CDC's guidelines for PPE to be worn by healthcare professionals when managing patients with ebola virus disease.
