Precision, Reliable Calibration The calibrator consists of a stabilized human-blood preparation that is a viable and trusted substitute to whole-blood calibration. It gives reference values for WBC, RBC, HGB, MCV, PLT, and MPV, used in conjunction with proprietary reagents and compared to the table of expected results. Average measurement inputs undergo processing to yield a calibration factor that ensures a high degree of accuracy in your hematology readings.
