The Detecto Apex Portable Digital Floor Scale with Remote Indicator is best suited for hospitals, clinics, and physician offices with limited space. Its built-in handle and remote indicator make it easy to carry and position in the most convenient place. It can accommodate patients weighing up to 600 lbs and has a stable extra-wide platform measuring 17" W x 17" D x 2.75" H.

The Apex Portable Scale uses an advanced weight indicator with 6 buttons and a bright LCD screen for results readouts. The 0.75" LCD displays the weight and height simultaneously. It can also calculate BMI. Units can be locked into LB or KG, with the weight automatically locking in for a few seconds for viewing and recording. The battery level is indicated on the screen. The weight indicator is attached to a long cord and can be mounted on the wall or a desktop using the included bracket.

For convenience, the Detecto Apex Portable Scale has an optional Bluetooth and WiFi connection for wireless EMR/EHR connection. It is powered by 12x AA batteries or an optional 12VDC AC power adapter. This scale does not require assembly and can be used straight out of the box.
