The BD SmartSite Vented Vial Access Device is a latex-free and high-quality medical instrument designed to provide easy and safe access to drug vials needed by a patient.

Hassle-free Usage. With an included 0.2 Micron Hydrophobic Air-Venting Filter, the SmartSite Vented Vial Access Device neutralizes vial pressure and minimizes aerosols and surface contamination. This filter enables doctors and medical professionals to easily extract the drug from the vial. The Vial Access Device also features a dual pathway spike that efficiently transfers fluids to maximize extractable volume.

The BD SmartSite Vented Vial Access Device has a priming volume of 0.1 mL and a device diameter of 20 mm.

Configuration Options

The BD SmartSite Vented Vial Access Device is available in an open and closed design. Both share similar features and functions including a needle-free valve, dual pathway spike, and a 0.2-micron filter.
