The Quidel Lyra Direct Strep Assay is a real-time PCR used to qualitatively detect Group A ß-hemolytic Streptococcus (Streptococcus pyogenes) and Pyogenic Group C and G ß-hemolytic Streptococcus (Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus equi, Streptococcus canis).

FAST RESULTS: Results in 70 minutes compared to 2-3 days of culture results.

EASY WORKFLOW: Features a one-step reagent setup where the rehydration solution is added to the lyophilized Master Mix. Has standard pipetting volumes for simplified and uniform workflow.
