The Quidel Sofia 2 SARS Antigen+ FIA Test Kit is a rapid fluorescent immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigens directly from anterior nasal swab specimens. Used with the SOFIA 2 Analyzer, this kit uses advanced technology and has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture.

OBJECTIVE & EFFICIENT COVID TESTING

RAPID TECHNOLOGY: Uses immunofluorescence-based lateral-flow technology in a sandwich design to qualitatively detect SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigens, and provides automated and objective results in as little as 10 minutes.

DIRECT NASAL SAMPLING: Uses direct anterior nasal swab specimens, providing a convenient sample collection method for point-of-care testing of symptomatic individuals, when testing is initiated within 6 days of symptom onset.

POINT-OF-CARE CONVENIENCE: Designed for use in point-of-care settings, allowing healthcare professionals to obtain results efficiently during patient evaluation
