The Quidel Solana Complete Strep Molecular Assay Kit is an advanced rapid diagnostic test that accurately detects Group A β-hemolytic Streptococcus (Streptococcus pyogenes) and pyogenic Group C/G Streptococcus (Streptococcus dysgalactiae) nucleic acids directly from throat swab specimens. This test requires the Solana Analyzer for analysis. 

HDA TECHNOLOGY: Utilizes Helicase-Dependent Amplification (HDA), enabling rapid nucleic acid amplification without the need for a thermal cycler while maintaining high sensitivity and specificity.

HIGH CLINICAL ACCURACY: Demonstrates 98.8% sensitivity and 98.9% specificity for Streptococcus pyogenes, and 100% sensitivity with 99.5% specificity for Streptococcus dysgalactiae.

SIMPLE WORKFLOW: Uses lyophilized master mix reagents for simple rehydration and streamlined testing. Provides accurate results in about 35 minutes, conveniently displayed on the Solana Instrument’s touchscreen.
