The Quidel Solana Influenza A+B Molecular Assay Kit, 48 Tests per Kit is a rapid medical test designed for the detection of influenza A and B viral RNA in nasal and nasopharyngeal swabs from patients with signs and symptoms of respiratory infection.

Reliable and Precise. Consisting of two major steps during testing, the Solana Influenza A+B Molecular Assay Kit, 48 Tests per Kit: (1) specimen preparation and (2) amplification & detection of target sequences specific to influenza A and/or B. Amplification is done using the isothermal Reverse Transcriptase - Helicase-Dependent Amplification (RT-HDA), a rapid method of isothermal nucleic acid in the presence of target-specific fluorescence probes. These are all performed in the Solana Instrument (Sold Separately) with results done in 45 minutes and displayed on the touchscreen which can be saved, printed, sent to the LIS and/or exported through any one of the Five USB ports.

The Quidel Solana Influenza A+B Molecular Assay Kit comes with 48 Tests per Kit and contains 48 Process Buffer Tubes and 48 Reaction Tubes.
