Baseline Taylor Percussion Hammers are used to stimulate nerve responses during general examinations, typically to test deep tendon reflexes and detect potential abnormalities in the nervous systems.

The percussion hammer handle is designed to allow the healthcare provider to easily move the hammer in an arc-like motion to make contact with the nerve. The percussion head of the hammer is made of a firm rubber material. The Baseline Taylor Hammer is constructed using a durable latex material that has superior tensile strength.
